Center for Art and Interculture

CKI works to develop art, culture and teach organizations to involve, co-create, innovate and include.

Center for Art & Interculture (CKI) is a national knowledge, competence and dissemination center for interculture and cultural diversity. The center addresses both public and private actors and stakeholders in cultural life and is independent of political and economic interests.

CKI works to strengthen and motivate active participation in cultural life through democratic methods. CKI does this in Denmark, the Nordic countries and Europe. They develop and apply audience strategies, participation formats and co-creation methods. They convey knowledge and experience between the country's artists, culture and art institutions and cultural politicians with the aim of developing, strengthening and anchoring the audience perspective in practice.

CKI's collaboration partners reflect many parts of cultural life, both in terms of art genre and at the level of institutions and actors; both public and private actors, large and small institutions in Denmark, the Nordic countries and the EU.
