Another Life

The association Another Life focuses on increasing intersectional equality and on addressing and reducing discriminatory behavior on a structural level.

Another Life is a non-profit association that works to increase representation and improve conditions for women and minorities on and behind the stage. They do this by creating concrete data and knowledge about how it is with representation and discrimination within the Danish music industry. It creates fertile ground for the conversation that can ensure that the momentum of the times to create change caters to every marginalized individual and not just a single segment or two.

We therefore focus on representation based on several identity markers, including gender identity, ethnicity, sexuality, physical and mental impairments and mental stress, as well as on which structural levels discrimination occurs. As an association, we work actively to develop and implement an intersectional focus in Another Life.
