Born in Cabo Frio into a family of musicians, Julia Vargas is a singer, songwriter, and percussionist acclaimed for the depth and sensitivity of her artistry. Her career features collaborations with renowned Brazilian artists such as Milton Nascimento, Zélia Duncan, and Ivan Lins. Her album “Pop Banana” and upcoming release “D’Água” showcase her unique musical vision.

The Oslo based singer and producer made a name for herself performing at numerous festivals such as Oya, Trondheim Calling and on several occasions at Copenhagen and Oslo’s Jazz Festivals. Now she will visit Union and Copenhagen with her experienced and playfull band.
