Kulturnatten: Sound & Vision in Union

For the Culture Night 10 October, Union invites you to experience the resident creative communities that revolve around music, podcast and film production.
Program
Dinner in Send Flere Krydderier
- 18.00
Rough Music Community Rehearsal
- 18.30 / 19.30 / 20.30
Anyone who wants to participate in the creation of a piece of music can come with an instrument under their arm. If you come without an instrument, you can sing or play percussion. It's just for fun! We will practice and play an instrumental arrangement of a song by a local songwriter. We will use simple and easy-to-understand instructions that the instruments can follow.
Spoiler Room Livestream
- 18.30
For the Spoiler Room Livestream you can share your demos with pixel.daddy and special guest True Blue. Here you can share or experience others sharing, some music they are currently working on. It can be anything from dusty demos that have been sitting on your hard drive for years, to freshly brewed ideas that have not yet taken final shape.
Rapolitics Rap Studio workshop
- 19.00
Come explore Union's basement studio where Rapolitics opens the studio, so you can get access to produce a track, sing, rap, or get the good tools to write a text. You are in good company by Flammen (the Flame), in a nice environment.
Æteren + Felia
- 19.00 / 21.00
Felaia takes us on a sound journey that opens up musical relationships to the sounds of the surroundings. Felia Gram-Hanssen is an artist and student at Æteren, a podcast and audio storytelling program based at Union. Her performance consists of an interplay of podcasts and sound surfaces. Audio recordings from nature, travel and everyday short stories as well as interviews are woven into a percussive and vocally driven sound universe.
Felia is a trained artist and works as a composer and musician. She is a drummer in, among others, Thulebasen and Meshes, a performance group consisting of dancers and musicians.
Ungdomsproduktion Film Screening: Everything Grows Here
- 19.00 / 20.00
Everything Grows Here is part of an interdisciplinary installation that examines the city's transformation. The installation combines documentary film, sculpture and a folk soundscape: a cinematic witness to the voices, gazes and stories of residents around Nørrebro Station, who are facing major urban renewal and colossal change.
Workshop: Collective filmmaking
- 19.30
The collectively run association UngdomsProduktion invites you after the screening of Everything Grows Here to a workshop in making collective film processes, where creative methods in collage, drawing, construction processes and storytelling are involved. There will be time to try out cameras, experiment with materials and editing stations in the room. Come and join us.
The Danish Connection studio

Undertonens Stemmer
- 20.00
Live talk: Feras is making a sharp statement with his concept “Ghetto Tours” – a live mini-podcast, where he invites residents from the apartment blocks onto the stage to deal with the prejudices and stereotypes they encounter on a daily basis. With humor, edge and uncompromising honesty, he turns his gaze and gives the audience the stories directly from the source.
#1 The young trio GIGZ, Killian and S.E.M. bring a distinctive energy to the stage with their new wave trap-rap. With a versatile dynamic, innovative flows and raw intensity, they represent a sound that is on its way to defining the next chapter in Danish hip-hop.
#2 Ortiz and Chango King will light up the floor with their Hip Hop from Chile and Cuba.
