ForróNovo

ForróNovo is Copenhagen's very own forró trio, led by Brazilian singer and songwriter Arthus Fochi. The band builds on the rich tradition of Brazilian forró, but adds a modern touch with improvisation and subtle elements from jazz and folk. The result is a fresh yet deeply rooted sound.

Munay

Munay is an Argentine folk music group that showcases Argentina's rich musical tradition by bringing the sounds and movements of the country to the stage. The group shares rhythms, melodies and dances that tell stories and paint soundscapes from Argentina's many cultural regions.

Sonamos Latinoamerica

Sonamos Latinoamerica is a framework where the past, present and future of Latin American folk music will meet and blend.

The International Music Festival Sonamos Latinoamerica 2025 is organized by CkulturA in collaboration with Union, Cinemateket, Building Communities, Festival de Literatura Cph, University of Copenhagen, Forró Copenhague and the embassies of Brazil, Argentina and Colombia.

With support from the Municipality of Copenhagen, the Kunstfonden and Nørrebro Lokaludvalg.
