Trypical Cumbia – Cumbión de Muertos

Trypical Cumbia plays cumbia with both a deep respect for tradition and a desire to bring it to life in new ways. Their repertoire travels across Latin America, featuring carefully selected songs and instrumental music from Colombia, Chile, Nicaragua, Peru and Brazil, alongside their own compositions.

Cumbia has its roots in Colombia, but it has long since travelled beyond the country’s borders and evolved in countless directions. It can be sensual and raw, melodic and hypnotic, vibrant and full of contrasts. Above all, it is music that makes your body move.

With Trypical Cumbia, Union becomes a dance floor where South American folk traditions meet a European city and the rhythms are free to travel. Expect a tight and energetic live band, warm vibes and a party that gets going from the very first notes.

About Day of the Dead and Cumbión de Muertos at Union

Come dance with death as we invite you to a Mexican celebration at Union. This year, we're expanding the festivities into a full two-day celebration of cumbia, mezcal, skulls and flowers.

We celebrate Day of the Dead at Union every year, and in 2026 we're making it a weekend edition: two nights of cumbia rhythms, celebration and community!
