Cuero (INT) + Dpb In Dub (UR/FI) X 48TIMER Festival
Cuero
CUERO is a Copenhagen-based band that explores an innovative fusion of Afro-Uruguayan Candombe with jazz, funk, and urban music. Their sound pays tribute to the rich heritage of Candombe, while also highlighting its ongoing evolution and its influence on global contemporary genres.
Through rhythm and improvisation, Cuero creates a vibrant musical dialogue between tradition and modernity - celebrating the drum not only as an instrument, but as a living symbol of memory, resistance, and community.
To close the event, CandombeDK will fill the streets with the pulse of live drums: A powerful and joyful celebration of Afro-Uruguayan culture in motion.
