Union rounds off this year’s Copenhagen Jazz Festival with a special Friday dedicated to community, as we team up with SPOILR for an open-air event in Union’s backyard.

The core idea of the evening is simple: bring your music.

Audience members are invited to bring their own demos on USB and share them directly with others—from the stage, in a shared space. It’s a chance to test new material, get feedback, and take an active part in the evening, whether you’re a producer, musician, or simply curious.

DJ sets and summer atmosphere

SPOILR curates the evening’s DJ sets, where genres and expressions merge in an open flow—from experimental beats to club-inspired soundscapes. The music becomes the link between stage and audience, setting the scene for a night where the boundaries between listeners and creators dissolve.

Vinyl, zines, and community

Around the concert area, there will be stalls featuring vinyl sales and independent zine makers, offering insight into the local underground and DIY culture. The bar will be open, with plenty of time to hang out, explore, and meet new people.

CPH Jazz Festival 2026 at Union

With this open-air format, Union brings a week of festival programming—spanning genres, traditions, and geographies—to a close. This evening turns toward community and emerging voices, inviting the audience not just to listen, but to contribute.
