About the Speakers

Josephine, an environmental filmmaker and science communicator, and Emil, a Danish photojournalist who has lived and worked in Kenya, will present their project We Are the Land, a short documentary exploring inequality in land ownership from both an artistic and political perspective. Focusing on Denmark and Kenya, the film takes an intersectional feminist and decolonial approach. With a commitment to social justice and inclusive storytelling, they shed light on pressing global inequalities through art and narrative.
