Information on Covid-19 safety at Union
At Union, we take a number of precautions to ensure your safety and limit the risk of spreading Covid-19.
Mandatory face masks
From Thursday October. 29, face masks are mandatory in Union. This means you must wear one at all times when not seated. You are allowed to take the mask off when seated in the café, by your desk, or at a seated event elsewhere in the house.
Maintain a safe distance
Every week, Union is visited by guests who come to visit the café, or to participate in cultural events, meetings or conferences. For this reason, it is extremely important that we help each other with maintaining a safe distance in order to follow official Covid-19 regulations.
Here is some essential advice that will help you keep a safe distance:
- When arriving, walk directly to your desk or assigned seat at a meeting or cultural event. When on a break, we recommend going outside for a spot of fresh air.
- Maintain a safe distance when arriving at an event. Sit down for a drink in Send Flere Krydderier or wait outside until the doors open. Please do not walk around and mingle.
- As always, remember to use hand sanitizer often, and to stay at home if you feel unwell.
The number of events is still limited. Likewise, the in-house capacity is limited due to the overall Covid-19 regulations regarding public assemblies. For this reason, several events will be streamed live.
If you have bought tickets for an event that is cancelled or substantially changed due to Covid-19 regulations, you will be informed directly via email.
Read more about our events here on this page or on our Facebook.
Room rentals – lower capacity
It is still possible to book meeting rooms at Union as usual, but, due to Covid-19 assembly regulations, the room capacity is lower than usual. Please bear current regulations in mind when booking a room – in particular assembly limits and distancing requirements.
During events, it is the responsibility of the hosting member or association to ensure that current regulations are observed.
The administrative staff will work from home
The day to day operation of Union will continue as planned, however, as our team will work from home when possible, the amount of physical office hours will be reduced. If we are not in the office, you are – as always - of course more than welcome to contact us via email or phone.
Thank you for taking care of each other and the Union community.
